Wooded Scene with Christmas Lights Painted with Acrylic Paint, Twigs, Pine Cones, and a Homemade Decoration

This painting was actually painted to be viewed at night time.  I covered the top part of the canvas with black paint, added white paint mixed in with a touch of blue paint in places for highlights on the bottom part of the canvas.  I gathered twigs, sticks, (which were painted white and glued on the canvas) and pinecones (which were painted white and then glitter was also added to them) from the neighborhood.  I painted a plain ornament and decorated it with glitter.  I purchased two strands of Holiday Lights, white - clear kind, punched forty holes in the canvas and glued most of the lights to the back of the canvas using white glue.  Plug the decorated wooded scene up at night time along side of your Holiday decorations and it is just beautiful!
